I would have preferred an all black back drop but my wife has stolen my black card to make Christmas present labels.

I agree a totally black background would have worked better. I think the highlight on the left is very harsh too - would it have worked better if the flash was ore diffused - either through the umbrella or through a large white sheet. Also, what's the green line in the left of the glass - is it a reflection or something in the glass?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, I should have set the umbrella up. Unfortunately my wife was also keen to get her hands on the wine as well as the black card. The green line is indeed a reflection of a box I grabbed to screen the background from the flash. Quite a few things to improve on this one...
